Glo Airtime Transfer: Easy Share (Code, Limit and PIN)

There is really not much that you can do on your mobile phone without credit. Even if you are using a smartphone, the majority still buy data by first recharging. This is why easy share which allows you to transfer airtime from one glo line/sim to another was launched provided they are both on Globalcom network.

I won’t have to tell you that the importance of airtime can never be over-emphasized. It is compulsory you have it to make calls both local and international, to send SMS messages, to buy data, etc.

I know that with smartphones, you can do most of the above with one social media app or two but the fact remains that numerous Nigerians don’t have access to a smartphone and even a good number of those that do can’t seem to understand how to get the best out of it.

This brings us back to the airtime transfer code which enables Glo customers to send or share credit with other Glo subscribers. You know just like the data transfer code allows you to transfer data from your Glo line to another Glo number.

However, before you start using this ussd, there is one important thing I will recommend you do and that is to change the default PIN which is 00000.

To change your glo airtime transfer pin, dial *132*the old PIN*New PIN*New PIN#. Your old PIN is 00000 for those that are changing their password for the first time.

Make sure the new PIN is a combination you can easily remember because you will need it every time you initiate a transfer to complete it. The code is the same if you want to change your PIN again.

Glo Airtime Transfer Code

Dial *131*beneficiary’s phone number*airtime amount*PIN# to send or share credit from your Glo sim card to another Glo line.

The whole process takes seconds. The recipient will receive the airtime while your account will be debited for the exact amount you sent.

There is no limit to how much you can transfer or how many times you can make the transfer in a day.

For those that want to know if they can transfer to other networks such as mtn, airtel, and 9mobile, the answer is No. You can’t share your credit with subscribers of networks other than Glo.

Final Thought

For most banks, it is much easier to recharge for the number associated with the account than for every other number.

No special code or having to enter an authentication PIN. Just dial the bank’s code and put the amount of airtime.

I for one, mostly recharge directly to my alerts number and can easily send credit to whomever I want to send it to using the glo airtime transfer guide above.

There are sure many other reasons why numerous people make use of the easy share, I just thought you should know why I do.
