Glo Recharge Code: Load Airtime with Serial Number, Simple and Jolof

You are obviously here because you need to know how to top up your line, which means you have been searching for Glo recharge code. Not to worry, your search ends here.

As a Glo customer, it is unlikely for you not to know the code to recharge your line but, it is possible. One might have too many thoughts in mind that make memorizing a code such as this, not a priority.

Glo Recharge Code

The code to load airtime on your Glo sim is *123*Recharge Pin#. Recharge Pin / serial number is always 15 digits in number, your recharge will be unsuccessful if the pin is more than or not up to 15 digits.

After recharging your line, you would want to check your balance to be sure that you have been credited.

How do you do this? Simply dial *124# from your Glo line and reply with “1” to quickly view how much is in your account.

A notification containing that will be displayed on your phone’s screen.

Glo Simple Recharge Code

It allows you to buy airtime or data directly from your bank account using a USSD code. Normally, customers would recharge using their bank mobile app but this seems more convenient.

The reason is that you do not need a smartphone or internet connection, a USSD code can be dialed from any GSM device.

Follow the steps below to use it:

  • Dial *805# from your Glo SIM
  • Choose if you want Airtime or Data
  • Select if you are buying for yourself or for someone else (Third Party)
  • Enter the amount of Airtime or Data you wish to purchase (If it’s for a third party, enter the person’s phone number, continue and then enter the amount)
  • Select your bank account (Very important if you have multiple bank accounts)
  • Complete by providing all needed bank details (For some banks, you will be asked to provide your PIN)

What you should know about using this method is that your Glo SIM must be registered with your bank account else, it will not be recognized.

Also, not all Nigerian banks are on the Glo simple recharge platform, just 13 banks are recognized for now as listed below.

Access Bank, Diamond Bank, FCMB, Fidelity Bank, Jaiz Bank, Heritage Bank, Keystone Bank, Skye Bank, Stanbic IBTC Bank, UBA, Union Bank, Unity Bank, and Zenith Bank.

Glo Jolof Recharge

The Glo Jolof Recharge Package is an interesting one, it allows you to recharge lower amounts of N25 and N50.

If you want to purchase a recharge card, the least you can get is N100 but with the Glo Jolof package, you can get lower than that.

The thing about this recharge is that you are recharging out of your already existing account balance.

That is if you want to recharge N50 on Glo recharge, after dialing the code, the money will be deducted from your main account balance and credited to your Jolof account.

You must have airtime already before you can do this. I know it sounds a bit odd but, you have some benefits to enjoy.

The N25 Recharge Code

The code to recharge N25 is *0805*25# and you get 3 minutes of call time when you use this code. 25 Naira from your main account balance wouldn’t last for up to 3 minutes.

  • Out of the 3 minutes you have, 2 minutes is to be used to call only Glo numbers while the remaining 1 minute can call other networks. In addition to that, you get to send 3 SMS to Glo numbers only.
  • Both call time and SMS are valid for 1 day.

The N50 Recharge Code

The code to recharge N50 is *0805*50# and you get 6 minutes of call time when you use this code. N50 from your main account balance wouldn’t last for up to 6 minutes.

  • Out of the 6 minutes you have, 4 minutes is to be used to call only Glo numbers while the remaining 2 minutes can call other networks. In addition to that, you get to send 6 SMS to Glo numbers only.
  • Both call time and SMS are valid for 1 day.
  • You can check your Glo Jolof balance by dialing *122*6#.
